GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience, created by Gameloft, is a free game that you can download. Keep in mind, however, this is a 1 gigabyte download, which is not good if you have an iPad or iPhone that has a maximum of 16 gigabytes. Like with many other free games, GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience has numerous in-app purchases. The reason a lot of gamers might choose the in-app purchases is because it helps the game go faster, and you can get cars faster.

What separates this racing game from the others is the lifelike graphics. If you have a 1080p monitor, you will have plenty to get the full effect of the realism. Racing events in GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience also feel more realistic, with stunning detail of the outdoor racing experience. This fast-paced and action-packed game will give gamers an endless amount of thrills, and you will achieve your goals and win races throughout. The game could actually be compared to the likes of the Gran Turismo series, where you buy new cars at the shop and make improvements to older cars.

The controls have an adaptable and fluid feel, which makes the driving feel more realistic. As you progress through the game, you will visit different cities like Montreal, Midnight City, and Tokyo. GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience has been made famous by its numerous appearances in many street racing videos. The biggest disadvantage of the game is how it costs too much to accumulate points and can take too long. This was probably done intentionally by the game designers so that gamers would buy points to get cars instead. The overall gameplay focuses more on the simulation effect instead of on cheap thrills, which is a breath of fresh air. In addition, GT Racing 2 has some impressive visuals, and you have a game that has been designed more for the ease of the beginner. In other words, it does not have much of a learning curve.

When you select a vehicle, you have an impressive level of depth and detail. The tracks do look somewhat sterile, but the gameplay runs at a smooth and fast frame rate. Another advantage of the game is how you have a campaign mode that goes deep and immerses you in the experience of racing. The single player mode has a ridiculous amount of content, and each vehicle will have its own campaign. You can race on a variety of different tracks. The biggest complaints that gamers might have about campaign mode is how linear the gameplay feels, and how you have to start with the lower-end vehicles if you want to unlock the better cars.

Pros

  • Realistic Graphics
  • The Events Have a Stunning Level of Detail and Depth
  • A Variety of Tracks to Enjoy
  • Great Starting Game for a Beginner

Cons

  • Campaign Mode Feels Too Linear
  • Takes Too Much Time to Accumulate Points
